Caravellus divulga capa de novo álbum “Inter Mundos”!!

Arte foi desenhada pelo artista Marcus Ravelli que captou a essência do álbum

A Caravellus acaba de divulgar a capa de seu novo álbum de estúdio “Inter Mundos”. O álbum será lançado no primeiro semestre de 2021 pela Metal Relics (Brasil) e pela Rockshots Records (WORLDWIDE). A produção é assinada pelo guitarrista Glauber Oliveira. A Caravellus é formada por Leandro Caçoilo (vocal), Glauber Oliveira (guitarra), Daniel Felix (teclados), Maurílio Vizin (baixo) e Rafael Ferreira (bateria).

Glauber Oliveira explica a ideia da capa: “O Inter Mundos é um álbum especial. É um trabalho orgânico e visceral, com uma estória conceitual inédita. Metal progressivo e a música brasileira (sobretudo a nordestina) estão conectados. Eu não queria que a arte de capa fosse algo com imagens manipuladas. Este álbum pedia uma capa feita à moda antiga. O Ravelli é um gênio da ilustração brasileira, além de um grande amigo. Mergulhou de cabeça no conceito e na minha ideia de homenagear o escritor paraibano de nascimento e pernambucano de coração, Ariano Suassuna. A arte começou no papel, com tintas e pincéis. O Ravelli, literalmente, deu cor e referência visual ao Inter Mundos. O resultado ficou incrível”

O artista Marcus Ravelli fala como foi desenhar “Inter Mundos”: “Inter Mundos” é uma obra única, feita com extremo empenho e competência, um verdadeiro orgulho para o metal nacional. Pude ser testemunha de quanto esforço foi aplicado para que soasse perfeito, em todos os sentidos. O Glauber chegou a viajar para o local, que é longe pra cacete, para buscar mais inspiração e mergulhar ainda mais no imaginário cultural da região. Músicos excelentes e criativos e composições que se preocuparam em exprimir em cada nota a atmosfera mítica e a identidade cultural única que envolve o tema. Assim é esse trabalho incrível. Um grande orgulho participar com a minha arte dessa obra-prima do metal brasileiro.

Art was designed by artist Marcus Ravelli who captured the essence of the album

Caravellus has just released the cover of their new studio album “Inter Mundos”. The album will be released in the first half of 2021 by Rockshots Records (Worldwide) and Metal Relics (Brazil). The production is signed by guitarist Glauber Oliveira. Caravellus is Leandro Caçoilo (vocals), Glauber Oliveira (guitar), Daniel Felix (keyboards), Maurílio Vizin (bass) and Rafael Ferreira (drums).

Glauber Oliveira explains the artwork idea: “Inter Mundos is a special album. It is an organic and visceral work, with an unprecedented conceptual story. Progressive metal and Brazilian music are connected. I didn’t want art cover was something with manipulated images. This album asked for an old-fashioned cover. Ravelli is a genius of Brazilian illustration, as well as a great friend. He plunged headlong into the concept and my idea of honoring the Paraiban writer by birth from the heart of Pernambuco, Ariano Suassuna. Art started on paper, with paints and brushes. Ravelli, literally, gave color and visual reference to Inter Mundos. The result was incredible.”

The artist Marcus Ravelli talks about how it was to draw “Inter Mundos”: _”Inter Mundos” is a unique work, done with extreme commitment and competence, a real pride for the national metal. I was able to witness how much effort was put into making it sound perfect, in every way. Glauber came to travel to the place, which is far away as hell, to seek more inspiration and to dive further into the cultural imagery of the region. Excellent and creative musicians and compositions that took care to express in each note the mythical atmosphere and the unique cultural identity that surrounds the theme. So is this incredible job. I am very proud to participate with my art in this masterpiece of Brazilian metal.”

Caravellus is in the final process of composing and recording the new album “Inter Mundos” and has the special participation of vocalist Daísa Munhoz (Soulspell, Vandroya), by drummer John Macaluso and also by singer Daniela Serafim.
